Caring for Your Extensions

Styling Tools:
Be gentle with your extensions! Always use a wide-tooth comb or a paddle brush when detangling or styling. Small-tooth combs and rat-tail combs can snag the hair and cause unnecessary shedding.

Before Bed:
Make sure to brush out any tangles before bed. To keep your extensions looking fresh, braid them into a couple of big braids, wrap them up, pin curl them, or tie them into a loose ponytail or bun. Sleeping with a satin scarf or bonnet is a game-changer for keeping your hair smooth and frizz-free!

Washing Your Hair:
Keeping your extensions clean is key to making them last. Before washing, always detangle thoroughly. Wet the hair in sections and use a good detangling shampoo, followed by a rich moisturizing conditioner. Wash in a downward motion to avoid tangling. A deep conditioner is your best friend—don’t skip it! After washing, apply a leave-in conditioner to keep your extensions soft and hydrated.

Wavy & Curly Hair:
If you have wavy or curly textures and want to wear them as-is, apply a curl-defining cream while the hair is still wet. This helps prevent frizz and locks in those beautiful waves and curls.

Styling & Coloring:
You can treat your extensions just like your natural hair—curl, color, brush, comb, and flat iron them to perfection. But if you're not experienced with coloring hair, take your extensions to a professional to avoid damage.
